Cinnamon sugar (churro) popovers!

Soooooo delicious! Grab your ingredients, a blender, and muffin or popover pan and get crackin!

2 eggs
1 cup whole milk (or 2% if you don’t have whole)
5 TBS butter melted then cooled (separate 1 tbs to add to mixed ingredients)

1) mix the eggs, milk, and 1 tbs butter in a blender 20140804-184046-67246961.jpg

2) add the flour, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon to the blender and mix
3) preheat your oven to 450 and let your batter sit for a few for better texture
4) put your muffin pan in oven for a few minutes to heat up then take out and spray with cooking oil spray
5) fill the cups up halfway
6) bake for 15 minutes at 450 and do not open the oven at all during this time. Turn temperature down to 350 after the first 15 and cook an additional 15 or until slightly browned but not too crunchy looking 😉
7) pour 1/2 cup sugar and 1.5tbs cinnamon in shallow dish or plate and stir 20140804-181919-65959831.jpg

then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

How to clean your child’s bath toys!

Standard

20140803-105645-39405299.jpg
-First, shake and squeeze bath toys until they are completely empty. Add to clean sink and plug the sink so you can fill with water. Avoid using this solution on overly-porous toys.

-Fill sink with HOT water until toys are almost/completely covered.

-Add about 1/4-1/3 cup of bleach (water should equal around a gallon) and then stir with whatever you have handy…in this case, it’s my husbands mirror mwahahah.

-Let toys soak for around 15-20 minutes. Feel free to squeeze the toys (preferably with some gloves on) to make sure the bleach gets inside. Once the toys are finished soaking, rinse thoroughly (a good 2-3 times) with fresh hot water and then set out to dry. Easy peasy!! If you don’t want to use bleach you can also use vinegar for a chemical-free option. DIY multi use sewing box-FREE!

Standard

Who doesn’t like a FREE (or close to free) organization project?? This one is simple and quick as heck to boot. All you need is an empty baby wipes container, a few spools of ribbon, and your pins laying around for sewing purposes. Ok start with your empty box:

Now fill with spools of ribbon:

Feed ribbon through wipe slot on the top and close the lid:

Add your pins to the soft plastic for safe keeping!

The best part about this project is that it keeps everything tidy and you can organize your ribbon and pins using as many boxes as you need to. The slot makes it super easy to just grab the ribbon you need and pull it to the length desired and just *snip* Thanks for reading and I hope you try it out! Please share and subscribe for email updates to my blog posts 🙂
