DIY Coffee Creamer


So I went to make my coffee this morning and realize my beloved Bailey’s coffee creamer was pretty much done. Instead of sulking, forgoing my coffee, or giving in to plain milk as creamer (god forbid haha) I decided I’d make my own and so a tutorial for you! This is so simple it’s actually comical to post it, but hey, you never know when you’re going to run out!


-1 cup whole milk
-1 cup heavy cream
-4 Tbs pure maple syrup
-1 Tbs pure vanilla extract


Add 1 cup of whole milk to saucepan/pot.

Add your heavy cream.

Add the maple syrup and stir. Let this mixture heat up until it steams but do not let it boil.


Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract (or vanilla bean if you fancy 😉 ) then cover. Let this mixture steep for 30 minutes (or 10 if you have no patience like me)

When 30 minutes is up, add to a container of your choice and put in the fridge to cool completely! I like my coffee scalding hot (seriously) so I added the hot cream mixture to mine and it was delicious!! Complete success. Try it for yourself and enjoy 🙂
